A 16-year-old’s bucket list

*Yesterday, I turned 16.

Although I want to, I’m not going to blog about how thankful I am for the surprise birthday party  that CSPA hosted yesterday. Because firstly, everyone already knows what happened, since they did plan it. And secondly, I’m trying to make this blog less “documentary” like what Rich recommended today. (But thanks guys for the card and cake!)

So, instead, I’m going to create a bucket list with all the things I want accomplish while being 16 years old.

1. Obtain my driving permit, and ultimately my driving license.

2. Learn how to skillfully wink.

3. Attend homecoming game for the first time.

4. Wake up one random Saturday morning at dawn, not because I have to, but just to catch the sun colors spilling over the horizon. Drink some hot tea and curl up in my favorite, comfortable sweater while I’m at it.

5. Take my little sister out on a “sister date,” where we catch a movie she wants to watch, eat her favorite food for dinner, and talk for half the night at the park, just because I want to be a better sister to her. I pay for everything.

6. Have my first kiss.

7. Bake a cake for the first time.

8. Go movie-hopping. Got some good tips from Annette!

9. Eat from a street taco truck. Yummm (:

10. Make a ridiculous music video, in which I rap and act like a fool.

My goal is to accomplish all of the above by the time it’s my 17th birthday.

Off to tip the bucket!

*My birthday was on the 21st, I started this post on the 22nd, and finished on the 23rd.
