Kiefer Cropper, 17, of William Howard Taft High School in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles is an upcoming senior and editor-in-chief of her school paper, the Taft Tribune.
Cropper attended the event with her long time boyfriend, Christopher Oliphant, arriving in a party bus with 50 other friends. The school’s prom was held in Hollywood, with the theme of “Havana Nights”, although she recalls it not being well incorporated into the event. Cropper wore a tight blue dress because she it made her feel free, and fortunately spent only an hour and a half preparing for the dance.
“I had a really great time with my boyfriend of a year,” Cropper said. Her favorite memory was getting Oliphant to dance. She is sure this will be a night she’ll remember for a long time.
