CSPA is coming to an end, and this is the last time we will sit in classroom 303. It’s funny how about two weeks ago, the room was clean, and the students were silent. I noticed, especially last night, a major change. We are now so hyper and crazy around each other, and the room is…well, a wonderful mess.
I’m sad to think that I probably won’t see most of these people for a long time. But I am confident that everybody learned something here- not only about journalism, but about themselves. I know I did.
CSPA students are family; I feel as though I’ve known them for an entire school year rather than two weeks. We all come from different locations and backgrounds, but each person brings something special to this camp. Every person here has taught me something, including staying positive, branching out of my comfort zone, and recognizing the passions of the people around me.
Thank you, CSPA, for not only teaching me journalism skills, but also for introducing me to friends I will never forget. I can’t wait to stay in touch with everyone and hear about what they are doing with their gifts and passions.
