Allie Silvas, 17, of La Quinta, Calif. is a Harry Potter fan, on top of being an aspiring journalist. She was at the midnight book selling of the final book in the series, and attended the midnight movie premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 July 15.
Silvas arrived hours before the movie and claimed “really good seats.” She and her friends made a night of it at played cards until four in the morning, talking all about the movie.
“The night as a whole was a really memorable experience,” Silvas said.
Silvas didn’t cry at the end of the movie like so many others did and said she thought, “we’re the perfect age group for [Harry Potter]. We got to grow up into it.”
