When I received the e-mail that said a talent show was required, I began to get nervous. It is nerve-wrecking enough to get onstage, but to get onstage without a talent is a nightmare. Unlike many other students, I don’t play a musical instrument, cannot depend on vocal talents, and have not danced in years. Before I got to the workshop I had only one plan in mind- to play “Mary Had a Little Lamb” on the piano.
However, once I got to the workshop I noticed that most of the other students had no idea what to do for their talent shows, and were in the same situation that I was in. Once I got into my group of friends, I knew that I would not have to exercise the humiliation of playing “Mary Had a Little Lamb”. Some of my friends and I have started to plan our talent…and its going to be a great surprise!
