About Me

Hey everyone, I’m Rachel Du Mont.  I am entering my senior year at Tesoro High School which is in Orange County, California.  I love getting involved in my high school through the IMPACT program, the National Honors Society, my club (Blanket My Heart), and running for the cross-country team.  Next year I will be writing for my school newspaper, the Titan Voice.  Like any California girl, I love spending time at the beach.  Because of my love for the beach, I am a member of the Surfrider Foundation, which is an organization that helps keep our coastlines safe and spread awareness about the effects of pollution.  I love being outdoors and being active.  My family, friends, and I enjoy going out on our boat where we water ski, wake-board, and swim the day away.  I love international traveling, as well.  I’ve traveled around America and have been the Caribbean and Europe.  I have a strong passion for environmental protection and journalism.  These interests have led me to want to pursue environmental law.
