About Me

My given name is, by a stroke of biblical genius on my parents part, Rebecca Sarah Asoulin. I am a rising senior at Santa Monica High School where I will be Managing Editor of our newspaper The Samohi. My passion for journalism and for my other major interests (Chemistry, music, reading,  and short-story writing) are all fueled by my geniune curiousity about the world around me and an overwhelming urge to examine it, report on it, express my own interpretations and hopefully improve it. After college I hope to be able to incorporate as many of my interest into a profession that will continue to kindle my excitement for learning and expression. I am partial to turquoise jewelery, fruit, chocolate and slightly kooky hats.
