What would you drop your daughter for?

After returning from the CSPA 60th reunion I was struck by how close and interwound the lives of people, who without the workshop would be complete strangers, could become.

Their dedication to the memory of Ralph and Millie and their sincere compassion for all of us was inspiring and provided the best moment of the week.

Stan Kelton’s , allias”His Stanliest”, shock at the mention of Ralph as an extra in The Godfather Part 2. I mean really who cares about Al Pacino.

However after returning from the reunion, I was sent this particular video that shows biological relations don’t necessarily imply the same level of dedication.

Inspired by this video, I decided to ask my fellow workshoppers and counselors what they would drop their child for, besides a fly ball.

Kiefer Cropper- “I’m so bad at making decisions. Probably, a trip to Europe or an unlimited Starbucks gift card. I would drop anyone for that.”

Tyler Pager- “Nothing. I don’t have a daughter.”

James Harvey- ” That’s awesome. She could have stood up on her own though. He has terrible hands. He should have at least caught [the ball].”

Saba Hamedy- “I can’t drop my baby!”
