About Me

Hello! My name is Ritika Iyer and I am a rising senior at California High School in San Ramon, CA. Writing is one of my passions, and I plan on pursuing journalism in the future. I am currently the Managing Editor of my school newspaper, The Californian. I also blog/write for Patch.com and for my local city newspaper, The Contra Costa Times. Apart from writing, I enjoy participating in the Model United Nations club at my school, volunteering at the American Red Cross, and spending time with my friends and family. Yogurtland, granola bars, and shopping in San Francisco all make me happy. I’ve been born and brought up in California, so I definitely consider myself a California girl and absolutely love it here.
