Apparently, news happens all the time. Especially when you are finished with all your work, thinking about how you are finally going to get some sleep.

But, lets be serious, what kind of journalist gets sleep?

While we were in Muir Hall finishing our discussion about the day, a mass text was sent out by Todd Harmonson saying that theres breaking news and to get back to the class room in 10 minutes.

Even though I dragged myself over to the classroom and complained about how I would rather be sleeping, I actually enjoyed the adrenaline rush. It was so realistic because news doesn’t just stop at 10 o’clock at night, it never stops.

After working on three different “breaking news” stories until 12:30 in the morning, we all finally walked back to the dorm to get some sleep.

But, the instructors thought it would be a good idea to feed us tons of ice cream and candy late at night, by the way, thanks, it was very delicious and thoughtful! However, it definitely didn’t keep us calm.

So, here is a picture that explains how hyper we were during our sugar high last night.
