For more than seven decades, the California Scholastic Press Association has helped shape young journalists. The lessons we teach at the workshop, including clear writing and critical thinking, have never been more important.
We are a non-profit organization, and our instructors and board members are unpaid volunteers. We rely entirely on student tuition and charitable contributions to cover our operating costs.
Your gift helps to support the next generation of American journalists. We gladly accept contributions of any amount. Every dollar you contribute helps build us defray the cost of tuition for our students.
The California Scholastic Press Association is a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, federal tax ID #23-7055580. Your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Ways to give
Support our scholarship fund: Your generous gift will help defray tuition and travel costs for our students.
Honor a CSPA graduate: We are honored to accept gifts in honor of, or in memory of, a loved one. Please specify in your donation who you are recognizing and, if they are a workshop alum, what year they graduated.
Increase your impact: Many companies offer corporate matching programs that can double your gift. Check with your employer to see whether your company is one of thousands that offers this program.
